Kootenay Mushroom Festival 2025

The festival brings together foragers, enthusiasts, crafters, mycologists, artists, and the myco-curious to explore the world of fungi! There will be presentations by mycologists and scientists, guided forays by knowledgeable experts, workshops and classes, ID tables with an extensive collection of local specimens as well as some free presentations for the public, delicious food, live art, live music, and an incredible market with over 30 vendors !

At the market you’ll find hand made ceramics, wildcrafted foods, medicinal tinctures, body care, clothing, art prints, pyrography, stained glass, dried and fresh mushrooms, plant medicines, chocolate, baked goods, ready to eat and frozen meals, teas, coffee, stone jewelry, fine silver jewelry, and so much more !

Kootenay Mushroom Festival will take place at the Kaslo Langham and Legion this year, with vendors, music, food and workshops indoors and outside at the venues.
